Missing the signs that you child has a learning difficulty is very easy to do! Often times parents have a feeling that something is not right, but getting their child a tutor or helping their child study more is not as effective as they would like. Many times a parent is able to help their child with their homework but parents know that he/she is performing under potential or is not getting the expected results considering the time put into their school work. Learning disorders are related to the way an individual processes information, and the way we process is often not completely in line with the way information is presented in the schools. This difficulty with processing interferes with the learning process and can lead to many negative outcomes, including low self-esteem, poor school performance, and the development of negative attitudes about school. Usually the smallest of changes can go a long way! Join iAchieve Learning and clinical psychologist Dr. Kati Guada during a FREE presentation on how to recognize the signs of a learning disorder and what getting help looks like.
This presentation will cover:
- How to identify the signs that your child might have a learning disorder
