Bio:
Hi there! I’m a (not-so-recent) graduate of Rice University, based in Houston, Texas. I’m a high school math teacher with an eclectic group of hobbies. I like reading (fantasy is my favorite), playing video games, volleyball, soccer, roller skating, bowling, and basically anything that challenges my brain or physical coordination. Musically, I love to sing and play piano, though I’m a little rustier than I like to admit. I have a five-year-old son and 2 dogs, Daisy and Dahlia, and they all keep me going nonstop.

When it comes to tutoring, I have five years of experience. I have worked with all grades of math from 2nd grade through college (Differential Equations) as well as completed test prep for dozens of students. My goal is to help as many students as I can; I love working one-on-one with students to help them grow and explore new material on their own.

In my spare time, I enjoy music in a variety of ways.  I’ve played at 24 weddings and counting.  I love big dogs, watching NFL games, and eating at ethnic restaurants.
