Bring real-live improv right into your living room!  Making someone laugh is one of the greatest feelings in the world.  In this class, students will gain the confidence to take that to the stage and more.  Come learn the basis of improvisation, build your self-confidence, and most importantly, have fun!

Students will learn:

  • the Golden Rule of improvisation
  • the difference between short-form improv and long-form improv
  • how listening well informs the whole scene
  • ways in which you can create characters using what’s already in your body
  • how improv is less about making things up and responding to what’s in front of you

***We are only taking a maximum of 12 students so please register quickly!

This class will be taught by Ryan P.C. Trimble.  Ryan has been a tutor at iAchieve Learning for around 2 years and he has a Bachelor’s Degree in Film Studies & French Language.   He is currently working on his second novel (my first, “Fragments from 5th Ave,” was published in summer 2014) and also enjoys improvising with one of the several improv troupes he performs with in Chicago.  Read more about him here!
