Jamie O’Brien
Bio:
Hello! My name is Jamie, and I have recently graduated from Northern Illinois University with a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education. Right now, I am working part time doing dog walking and am now part of the iAchieve team as well. I have always been passionate about working with children, and am eager to begin tutoring and applying my skills to support their growth and success. I tend to work with the ages between kindergarten and sixth grade, but am open to all ages and can provide support for a variety of subjects. I’ve had the opportunity to work closely with students in a variety of settings. I’ve tutored one-on-one in subjects like reading, writing, and math, tailoring each session to meet the individual needs of the student. I’ve also supported small groups during classroom work and have experience helping students with organization and study skills.My interests outside of work include: hiking, baking, solving puzzles, and spending time with my dog.
