Bio:
I live in Arlington Heights and have a middle schooler and an elementary schooler. I love spending time with family. We enjoy taking our dog for walks, having game nights, playing tennis, and going to the zoo and science museum. I graduated with honors from Bradley University in 2005 with a Bachelor of Science degree. Since then, I have worked in various industries and have always enjoyed tutoring part-time in ACT, SAT, English, Math, and Study Skills. I also really liked working as an Education Director for a learning center, where I developed curriculum, trained instructors, tutored students, and monitored student progress. When tutoring ACT/SAT, I specialize in developing customized lessons to maximize student strengths and find areas for improvement. I believe that teaching students both content and strategy is the best way to make the tests less intimidating and achieve the highest score increases. I truly enjoy teaching and helping students reach their academic and test prep goals.
