Leo Goodman
Bio:
My name is Leo Goodman, and I’m from New York City. Ever since I can remember, I have tried to teach other students in my classes who needed help, especially in math. When my tutor for the specialized high school admissions test saw my passion for breaking down concepts to other students and my high test scores, she hired me to work for her company throughout high school. After scoring a 35 on the ACT, my first official time taking it, I began tutoring for college entrance exams as a senior in high school. During this time, I also fell in love with psychology. I received my bachelor’s degree in psychology, and I’m now pursuing my Master of Social Work. I have helped many students improve their mathematical abilities and test scores. Getting to play a part in a student’s growth and confidence is always fulfilling and lets me know I’m working in the right field. I also enjoy playing chess, playing football and basketball with my friends, writing poetry, and making music with my friends.
