Jesse Sternberg
Bio:
I’m a professional curriculum writer, tutor, and musician from Brooklyn, NY. Music and education are my two passions! I have written textbooks, performance tasks, video storyboards, and study guides on subjects from physics to Spanish to geography, recorded four albums of my original music, and toured all over the world performing concerts. I also participate in workshops where I mentor local New York City youth in the art of songwriting. I’m tutoring because it helps me keep in touch with students and their learning needs, which makes the rest of my work more effective. When I’m not writing, tutoring, or performing, I love to hike, swim, ride my bike, and enjoy the outdoors.
I spent years teaching SAT prep test classes throughout New York City and tutoring students privately in subjects including both SAT sections, AP Physics, Calculus, Geometry, Algebra, AP US History and more. My students leave my session feeling not just more knowledgeable about the subject matter but more confident and relaxed as well.
