Claire Blakemore
Bio:
I’m excited to be joining the iAchieve Learning team as an administrative assistant! I grew up in Minnesota, but moved to Chicago for college and decided to make it my home. I attended Loyola University Chicago where I received a BA in History and BS in Secondary Education. I most recently worked as a high school social studies teacher at Warren Township High School and served as the varsity girls lacrosse head coach. I take pride in working with students and was recently recognized by the University of Chicago as an Outstanding Educator. I have worked with students and families in many different educational settings, and I am greatly looking forward to bringing my diverse professional experience to the families, students, and tutors at iAchieve Learning.
I live on the northwest side of Chicago, with my fiancé and our two cats. In my free time, I like spending time outside, practicing yoga, gardening, exploring obscure historical landmarks, and trying out new restaurants.
